09/25/2025

Prain Global announced that it won the Technology: Hardware category at the 2025 SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific, a global public relations awards program.

Organized by PRovoke Media, a global publication specializing in the PR industry, the SABRE Awards is the world’s largest PR awards program. Winners are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of creativity and strategic execution across the full spectrum of communications, including branding and reputation management. The awards are held across regions including North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. This year, more than 1,200 entries were submitted in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prain Global received the award in the Technology: Hardware category, which recognizes communications excellence in technology-intensive industries such as semiconductors, gaming, and industrial computing. The winning entry was SK hynix’s global LinkedIn branding project, which was designed to make complex semiconductor technologies easier and more intuitive to understand while increasing interest in and understanding of the industry as a whole.

The project was recognized for introducing a new visual communications strategy that departed from the cold, mechanical blue-toned imagery commonly used across the semiconductor industry. Inspired by the fundamental role semiconductors play in improving people’s lives, the project used the human body as a visual motif and developed a distinctive graphic system that visualized data unique to SK hynix, making highly technical messages more accessible and intuitive.

As a result of the strategic approach, content on SK hynix’s official LinkedIn page generated more than 980,000 impressions per month on average, while its engagement rate increased by 93.3 percent year over year. The project was also selected as a “2025 LinkedIn Creative Best Practice” for its creative and effective use of a flexible yet consistent visual language to communicate the brand’s messages. It had previously received the top prize in the Reputation Management category at the 2024 Korea PR Awards.

“We are honored to have our work recognized in the technology hardware category, an area that is highly competitive in the global market,” said Yoonjin Han, Director at Prain Global. “By translating complex technologies and products into clear, intuitive, and human-centered language, this project sought to build brand trust. It offers a new model for how Korean brands can communicate effectively with global audiences.”
